Interactive Help Feature

Brother's unique interactive-Help capability and intelligent-printer-status-monitoring capability ensures locally or network-connected printers are continually monitored. So if a problem occurs (e.g. paper empty, toner low, etc.) a Flash animation file expertly guides you through the steps necessary to resolve the problem. These animations are based on the 'Flash' format, which means they can be viewed on PC and Macintosh systems.

How to use the 'Interactive Help' feature

When you installed the Brother printer driver from the CD-ROM supplied with the printer, the Interactive help feature is automatically installed and an icon is placed on your desktop. Simply double click the icon and you will see a screen of available links.

Click the link you are interested in and a animation will appear guiding you through the steps necessary to resolve that particular problem.
