Brother Internet Printing
Brother's print server technology enables printed document to be sent and printed
over the Internet.
Brothers Internet Printing software driver allows a PC user
at one location, to send a print job to a printer connected to a Brother
NC-2010h or NC-2010p print server at a remote location. For example, a user on
a PC in New York could print a document directly from his Microsoft Excel
application program to a printer in Chicago using the Internet as a transport
medium. By using e-mail as a transport medium we can say that in the majority
of cases firewalls and routers do not have to be configured in a special way.
The majority of companies who use the Internet will already be using e-mail.
This means that the SMTP port number will already be enabled so they System
Administrator does not have to re-configure their router, gateway or firewall.
